"'The last enemy to be destroyed is death,' Paul writes. Today Christ is risen, and we gather together with astonishment and joy. Christ is risen, and we have been set free from the bonds of death. Christ is risen, and we are forgiven. Christ is risen, and with the women at the tomb and Peter, we are amazed. Let us rejoice: Christ is risen indeed! Alleluia!" - Sundays and Seasons
Worship at First follows the traditional pattern of Gathering, Word, Meal, and Sending in modern language and music. During worship, we celebrate our connection with God in Christ Jesus, with one another, and with the church around the world.
All are welcome at our 9:30 am worship, “hearing, living, and sharing God’s Word together.”
Don't forget to join us for a Easter Sunrise service at 7:00 am at the Fairview Mausoleum in DeKalb.
